ECO1010H1F Mathematics and Statistics for MA Regular Stream and MFE Students
This course provides Regular MA Stream and MFE students with a review of key mathematical and statistical techniques for master's level coursework. The Math portion focuses on constrained and unconstrained static optimization, the envelope theorem, and matrix algebra. The statistics portion focuses on probability theory, random variables, probability and cumulative distribution functions, central limit theorems, and regression analysis. This is a Credit/No Credit course. To pass the course, students must pass 3 tests given at the end of each week.
