FILLING SESSIONAL INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT POSITIONS
Under CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement
The Department of Economics hires Sessional Instructional Assistants to assist in the delivery of some if its undergraduate courses. Specific courses openings are posted on this page as well as on the departmental bulletin board at 100 St. George St., Toronto, Ontario M5S 3G3. The list of such postings may change at any time.
To be considered for a position, a CUPE 3902 Unit 3 form (application form) and a Curriculum Vitae must be submitted to Prof. F.R. Hiring decisions for courses offered during the Winter Session (September-April) are usually made in late August - early September and/or in late December - early January. For courses offered during the Summer Session (May-August), hiring decisions are usually made in early May. However, some appointments may be made earlier or later than these times frames. Unexpected vacancies may occur at any time.
Applications will be retained for twelve (12) months. Individuals who submit an application will receive emailed job postings for specific positions for the subsequent twelve (12) months.
