ECO3101H1F Topics in Macroeconomic Theory (Ph.D)

The objective of the lectures is to review a small set of topics, emphasizing recent research in dynamic macro theory. The first part of the course involves the review of numerical methods to solve dynamic general equilibrium economies applied to specific maco questions. In recent years, topics have included: growth and development, income distribution and growth, wealth distribution, employment and labour market policies, intergenerational transmission of inequality, and economics of the family. Prerequisites: ECO 2021H and ECO 2031H
