This course deals with contemporary issues in international monetary economics and macroeconomic policy in open economies, like Canada's. The focus is on forces determining interest rates and exchange rates, inflation and unemployment. Government policy in relation to financial markets will be analysed.Section L0101, Fall 2007–08
