Now Hiring – Economics Peer Mentorship Program (ECO:PMP)

ECO:PMP connects incoming second year students into the department by pairing them up with an upper-year undergraduate.

Mentees are second-year Economics Major students new to ECO programs. Mentors are upper-year undergraduate students and will help the mentees integrate into the ECO community; share the fruits of their experience; and ensure students are aware of the opportunities and resources ECO and U of T have to offer.

Mentees will have an informal way of receiving important advice, guidance, and information as they navigate their degree path. Mentees and mentors can meet one-on-one or attend virtual or in-person ECO-related workshops and events together. The program provides mentors with an opportunity to connect with fellow students, develop leadership skills, and contribute to their department in a meaningful way that is valued by faculty and students alike.

Duration

The duration of mentoring is from September to April, but can continue after the program has concluded.
