DIEGO RESTUCCIA FEATURES IN THE ECONOMIST'S DAILY CHART

Drawing on Professor Diego Restuccia's jointly-authored (with Tasso Adamopoulos) working paper, "Geography and Agricultural Productivity: Cross-Country Evidence from Micro Plot-Level Data", the article considers the conclusion that poor countries fall short of their agricultural potential because of inefficient use of geographic resources.
