Bio

My research focuses on the economics of innovation, incentive contracts and industrial organization. I'm interested in how the organization of industries and the nature of contracts impacts incentives to innovate, and how in turn the technology that comes from innovation impacts the organization of industry. I'm currently the managing editor of the Journal of Industrial Economics, and an associate editor at the RAND Journal of Economics and the Journal of Economic Theory.
