URBAN TRANSPORTATION POLICY

The Toronto region's rapid population and economic growth presents serious transportation policy challenges. The panel will discuss the future of regional transportation policy and how we can manage continued expected regional growth. Specific topics of discussion will include the SmartTrack and Regional Express Rail initiatives, other options for improving the area's public transit service and infrastructure, road congestion pricing, and the challenges of regulating ride sharing services. A public question and answer session will follow the panel discussion.
