Course Description
The course employs the Harvard Business School case study method, looking at real-life examples of entrepreneurship and challenging students to present opinions and defend positions as though they were in a board room. The course is practitioner-focused, addressing not only theory but also real world application to entrepreneurship and leadership. Many prominent business leaders and entrepreneurs serve as guest speakers for the class including Nadir Mohammed (CEO, Rogers Communications), Mark Wiseman (Senior VP, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board), Kevin O’Leary (CEO, O’Leary Funds and Dragons’ Den), Tony Lacavera (Founder and CEO, Globalive) and Tim Hodgson (CEO, Goldman Sachs Canada).
