Exchange and ECO Transfer Credits

Undergraduate students have access to many learning aboard and exchange opportunities offered through the Centre for International Experience (CIE). We encourage students to explore learning abroad programs to enhance their undergraduate studies. It is a great way to gain global experience, be exposed to diverse cultures and backgrounds, and expand your access to various economics course offerings taught in a different academic environment.

We recognize that students must do a lot of planning to prepare for their learning aboard experience. To help with this, we provide below a list of pre-approved economics courses at popular exchange institutions along with their ECO transfer credit level and exclusions. If the course you wish to enroll in is listed below, you do not need to request a pre-assessment. Upon the completion of your exchange courses, you can submit a transfer credit request along with your transcripts. If you are unable to find information on economics courses at your exchange institution below, consider searching through the University’s Transfer Explorer website.
