Canadian Economic Theory Conference
We have reserved a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Midtown (280 Bloor Street West, at St. George Street, a block or so from the department). We will let the authors of accepted papers know about how to get the conference rate at the hotel. If you will attend the conference but will not present a paper, please write to Ettore Damiano for information about how to get the conference rate.
The hotel location is shown on this map. The Department of Economics is on St. George Street half way between Bloor Street and Sussex Avenue, opposite Woodsworth College (which is indicated on the map when you zoom in).

The Hyatt Regency is a new hotel downtown. It currently has a very special rate of C$95. It is much further from the department than most of the other hotels---Google says 2.5 km, a 29 minute walk. Alterntively, you could take the streetcar on Spadina to Sussex Avenue or the subway on University Avenue to the St. George Street station.
