Filling Sessional Lecturer Positions
How to submit an application
The Department of Economics may hire, as required, Sessional Lecturers to deliver some of its undergraduate courses. Specific courses will be posted on the departmental job posting website and on the department’s bulletin board at 150 St. George St., Toronto, Ontario M5S 2E9.
To be considered for a position, complete the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 application form and attach your current Curriculum Vitae. Submissions will be directed to:

A valid email address is required. Preference is for applications and CVs to be submitted electronically.
We generally expect to make decisions concerning courses in July for Fall courses, in July/November for Spring courses, and in March for Summer courses. However, some decisions may be made earlier or later than these time frames depending on circumstances. Unexpected vacancies may arise at any time.
Applications will be retained for thirty-six (36) months. Individuals who submit an application and CV will receive emailed job postings for specific positions for the subsequent thirty-six (36) months.
This notice is posted pursuant to the CUPE Local 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement. Please note that, in accordance with that agreement, preference in hiring is given to qualified persons who have advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or Sessional Lecturer III.
