Call for Papers

7^th Annual Doctoral Workshop in Applied Econometrics

The one-day workshop aims to bring together PhD students working in applied and theoretical econometrics from the wider Southern Ontario region to present and discuss their current research.

Contributors will have the opportunity to present their work to a friendly audience from outside of their home departments, receive valuable feedback, practice their presentation skills ahead of the job market, and network with other students and faculty in the region.

Submissions in all areas of economics and finance with an econometric component are equally welcome.

Prospective contributors are invited to submit papers by May 20, 2019 via email to martin.burda@utoronto.ca. Travel support may be available, please inquire with your submission if applicable.

Programs from previous events in this series: 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013. We anticipate a similar format this year.
