STUDENT INFORMATION EVENT
WALL STREETERS ON ST. GEORGE STREET
Monday, February 26th, 2018 • 1:30-3:30 pm • Kruger Hall, Woodsworth College, 119 St. George Street

The Economics Department (STG) invites you to an open panel discussion with two career bankers from Wall Street: Justin Peagram (Barclays) and Sherry Xu (Credit Agricole).

This is a valuable opportunity for students interested in "finance" to have a candid conversation and network with bankers/recruiters to learn about corporate and investment banking and gather career advice (including academic preparation, extra-curricular activities, requisite hard & soft skills, and the "glass ceiling"). Students interested in internship opportunities in Canada and NYC should bring a one-page resume and (if possible) a business card.

About our guests:

Justin Peagram is a Director in the Global Natural Resources Group at Barclays Investment Banking NYC. He has spent his career at Lehman Brothers/Barclays, starting out as an analyst in 2007. Justin has worked on numerous M&A, Equity and Debt transactions across the Energy space, with a focus on midstream infrastructure and exploration and production companies. Justin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College in Massachusetts and grew up in Montréal, Québec.

Sherry Xu is an Associate in Debt Capital Markets at Credit Agricole NYC. She started her career with CIBC in Toronto, where she spent time in both corporate banking and DCM. In her current role, she helps to advise and execute US dollar and Euro bond offerings for large corporations primarily in the automotive, energy and industrial sectors. Sherry is a CFA Charter holder and graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce (with distinction).
