In the late summer of each year since 1995 I have surveyed the street-level businesses between Spadina Avenue and Christie Street, the neighborhood in which I live. SurvivalOf the businesses of a given type operating in 1995, how many survived to 1996? To later years? Of the new businesses in 1997, how many survived to 1998 or later years? (For example, select the type "Restaurant" to see how long the restaurants that opened in any given year survived. Then select the type "Fast food" to compare the survival of restaurants with that of fast food outlets.)
