Character check for unicode-encoded pages of Martin J. Osborne
To check whether your setup (browser + operating system) displays all the unicode characters that I use, consult the following table. The characters in the left column are GIFs; their appearance is the same across systems. The characters in the right column are rendered by your browser. The two characters on each row should be the same. (They won't be identical in appearance, but they should
be the same character.) Any character in the right column that is absent or different from the character on the same row in the left column will not display properly on my unicode-encoded pages.
The table will take a while to load, because it contains a lot of GIFs.
